Gary Whittington

I am a graduate of University of Birmingham (BSc), University of Nottingham (MSc) and hold a PhD from University of Aberdeen.

During my career I have carried out work for both public and private organisations including research work for the European Space Agency (ESA) as well as within international defence organisations.

Whilst studying for my PhD I held the chair at several international conferences and published over 20 research papers on various topics including: object-oriented systems, neural computing, knowledge representation, software re-engineering and building large scale web-based systems.

A co-founder and managing director of Global Web Limited, an internet for business solutions company that has been trading for over 17 years and owner and director of Patterns Limited.

I live in rural Aberdeenshire and am married with 3 step children and have 2 bouncy labradors.
